Chapter 3:

    "SAMANTHA!!!" I cried as your body fell to the ground. Tears started filling my eyes as I looked at the hole in your back. I looked over at Aunt Ruby for help, but then I saw that she had a gun. "Why... Why would you do that?!" I screamed with tears running down my cheeks.
    "Why?" She repeated, "I'll tell you why. Your father got all the brains in the family, and not once did he even think of giving it out to the rest of us! No, he was too busy giving it to children's hospitals, or giving it to orphanages, or all these other stupid charities that he think are more important than his own flesh and blood! Well, since he doesn't want to care about his family, then I'll take it away!" She then aimed the gun at me!
    I panicked, Sam, I panicked. I know you never wanted me to use the time machine, but I used it. I clicked the button, and suddenly I was back in the jungle with you. And you were alive, you didn't have a hole in your back. I was over come with joy.
    You looked at me and said, "Abby, why are you crying? We'll be there soon. I promise. There's a train station up ahead, We can take that home."
    "NO!" I screamed, and you looked at me confused. "Uhh... No, I actually like walking. It's good for you, and I love the scenery. Can we just walk instead?"
    "But a train would be much faster..."
    "Please?"
    "Oh, ok. But don't complain if your feet start hurting," You said playfully.
    I thought I did the right thing. I really did. You were alive by my side, and I was willing to do anything to keep it that way.
